Rose Bud Poncho
Rose Bud Poncho
I think it’s safe to say that I am slowly transitioning into crocheting for cooler temperatures. I know, I know… It’s not even the middle of July. I just can’t seem to help myself. I adore summer, but, autumn will always be my first love.
Rustic Lace Scarf
This week, I’ve designed a gorgeous little one skein wonder — the Rustic Lace Scarf.
Wild Orchid Cardigan
Oh boy, do I love the Wild Orchid Cardigan! The color, the style, the easiness of the pattern…it’s all awesome!
Mint Dream Tee
Mint Dream Tee
Hello there!
I hope you enjoy easy clothing patterns, because I have a great one for you today! If you can single crochet and double crochet and make two rectangles, then you can definitely make the boat neck Mint Dream Tee.
Easy Breezy Backpack
Easy Breezy Backpack
Hi there!
Have you noticed that there just aren’t too many crochet patterns available for males? Is yarn too girlie?
Well, in answer to my own question, I set out to create a unisex string bag, which are oh so popular right now. My boys use them for sports and they love them! I wanted to create something with texture and style, something that anyone could use.

Hey there!
Did you ever start out making something with an idea in mind only to discover that, whoops, that’s not what I intended to make? Well that’s what happened with this pattern. Originally I was going to make a nice summery scarf. As I started working and getting further into the pattern, I realized that I made it too wide!
Oh well. Now it’s a wrap! Actually it can be multiple things and I love the pattern more now that I messed it up than I did the original idea. Sometimes life is funny that way. 🙂
May Flowers Shawl
May Flowers Shawl
Hey there!
April showers bring May flowers!
Here is the second shawl in the themed set. Last week I released the pattern for the April Showers Shawl that you can see at the link. Be sure to check it out. It has raindrop shaped holes. How cute is that! Read more
April Showers Shawl
The April Showers Shawl brings smiling faces! 😀
Hey there!
Spring is here and surprise, surprise it’s raining! (At least it’s too warm to snow. 😉 )
So my little family was sitting in Denny’s waiting for our orders after we finished shopping at Hobby Lobby for yarn for my newest project, when my husband says to me, “I’ve got this idea for a set of themed shawls.” My husband usually comes up with some pretty good ideas, I must say, but I don’t think he was expecting the reaction he got after telling me this idea.
Water’s Edge Kimono
Water’s Edge Kimono
Hey there!
I’d like to believe that Spring is here since we’ve passed the daylight savings time clock change, but it just so happens to be snowing right now. Hopefully, wherever you are, the weather is warmer.
Even though it’s cold today, I designed this beautiful Water’s Edge Kimono in the hopes that Spring would hurry up. I think sometimes Mother Nature needs a good swift kick in the pants! Ha! I’m only fooling myself though. She’ll do whatever she wants.
